I LOVE MUSIC.
I love making music. I love listening to music. I love reviewing music. I love music.
Finding community in music is essential. Throughout humanity’s history we have used music as a means of forming relationships, organizing festivals and events, and, ultimately, expressing ourselves in a way that other people can understand. Sometimes words just are not enough in order to achieve full creative expression. Art forms, such as music, help fill in the gaps. I truly do not believe that we would be fully human without art.
We are living at a time of a recorded music renaissance. At no other time in history has it been so easy for the average Joe (like me, quite literally) to write, record, produce, and distribute this audible art form. What an amazing time to be alive! Unfortunately it also means that many, many great works of art go unnoticed. Simply put: there is more amazing music being created than there are hours in a day to enjoy it.
My goal is to explore this rather infinite world of music and to capture just a few droplets of the immense audio ocean. Join me on this journey!
